The South Dakota Department Of Labor and Regulation requires that these two mandatory labor law posters be diaplayed by all employers in an easily-viewed area in the workplace. Most businesses in South Dakota will also need to print and post the Federal Department of Labor's mandatory labor posters in addition to these state posters.
The South Dakota Department of Labor shall promulgate rules pursuant to chapter 1-26 of South Dakota DLR Title 60 to carry out the provisions of 60-11-8 to 60-11-23 of the same Title, inclusive. All employers are required to comply with the requirements included within Title 60 as well as to make their employees aware of their compliance.
