Rhode Island Sexual Harassment Poster Mandatory

The Sexual Harassment Poster is a Rhode Island miscellaneous law poster provided for businesses by the Rhode Island Department Of Labor and Training. This is a required poster for all Rhode Island employers, and any business that fails to post this notification may be subject to penalties or fines.

This is a state labor poster enforced by the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights. It is an informational post required of all employers, recruitment agencies, labor organizations and other individuals who aid or abet such illegal employment practices within the state. Based on various state and federal law provisions in the poster, it’s illegal to sexually harass a worker or applicant. The poster defines sexual harassment, how and when sexual harassment happens and also enlists who among the aforementioned are likely to commit a sexual offense at the workplace.
